Angie Poole President
Angie has been a full time pediatric Registered Nurse and business owner in the RVA community for over 30 years. She has seen up close the needs of children in the projects during that time. She has a deep desire to see moms be given opportunities to be better parents and provided free education and child care to succeed and gain freedom. Currently Angie works as a special needs nurse in Chesterfield County Schools. She is married and has 4 boys that are now grown and one grandson. She has a passion for travel and biking.
Crystal Holbrook-Gazoni Vice President
Crystal is a Registered Nurse who has worked in NICU and Pediatrics for her entire career. Crystal has a heart of a servant and has been helping those in need all her life. She has organized food and toy drives on her own for several years. She works with many agencies as a volunteer including supporting home less victims, Down Syndrome causes and many others. Her generosity towards others is endless. Crystal is married and has one son. Crystal is an avid marathon runner with over 40 races to date.
Laurie Lin Secretary
Laurie joined A Greater Purpose 6 months into our planning and has been instrumental in obtaining our non-profit status. A former tax lawyer with a background in education and tax policy, she is currently a full-time mom to her three young sons. She enjoys music, mysteries and exploring Virginia and the world with her family.
Kirsten Duignam Treasurer
Kirsten is educated as a teacher but as a mother of six children she worked in the home for many years before joining a Pediatric Home Health Agency as a marketing director. Whenever the nurses described a family need, Kirsten called on her vast community connections to help find solutions. She embraced every family and every need with special care. Kirsten also got her children involved to be heros in helping the families. Kirsten is married and in addition to her six children she has five grandchildren. She loves the beach, entertaining and cooking for others. She also gives the best hugs and knows no strangers.
